Presented by Blackdog Performance Cars is a beautiful low mile 2005 Pontiac GTO. This 6-Speed GTO has only traveled 10,082 miles since new! 2005 begins the first year of the famed LS2 engine to be used. This brings more power, reliability, and many other refinements over the earlier year GTO’s. This GTO is finished in Phantom Black Metallic over Black and is all factory. The hood and bumper are further protected with a Paint Protection film with no visible seams to further protect from future chips or damage! Included with the vehicle are the original books. The interior is black leather and is in excellent condition with the original new car smell! The unmodified LS2 revs freely and goes through every gear flawless. This GTO has gone through a full inspection by Blackdog Speed Shop and received a clean bill of health! Maintenance is up to date and is ready to be enjoyed.
Highlights for 2005:
*The 364-inch LS2's 400 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque is readily apparent compared to the LS1's 350/365 power rating
*The '05's bigger 12.6-inch front brakes are a huge improvement over the '04's 11.7-inch front rotors
*The regular '05's hood, rear fascia, and exhaust changes are much more attractive and aggressive than the '04 model's look
*Electronic throttle control is smoother and more precise than the throttle-cable LS1
*A revised traction-control system has no throttle "kick-back" and allows more wheel slip before intervening
*The driveshaft, ring-and-pinion, and CV joints were strengthened to better handle the LS2's power
