    Description

    For sale is a truly unique collectable from the 7/2/2017 game between the Red Sox and Blue Jays in Toronto.  The Red Sox would win this game in a route, 15-1.
    This specific ball was pitched in the top of the 7th inning by Toronto's Glenn Sparkman to Red Sox outfielder Andrew Benintendi- who would strike it for and RBI double, scoring Mookie Betts.  The ball would subsequently be removed from play and authenticated.  This was the 108th career hit of Benintendi's young career.
    Authenticated balls such as this are sent mid-game for sale to the public, and are sold by the hometeam. The authentication is input by the on-site MLB authenticators, who apply the holograms and enter the details of the play.  Authentications can be verified through the MLB.com site.  This ball carries the hologram JB965389.  I have attached a screen shot for your review of the MLB authentication serial number search result.
    This spectacular ball has great coloration and character- truly a 1-of-a-kind item!  The auction will include a plastic ball cube, as well as a printout of the MLB authentication page.
