    Description

    This Antique Gunpowder Flask was discovered buried in the woods near Otter Creek in Vermont in 1966. It is made from copper and brass (possibly bronze).
    Age and history unknown. There is a hunting scene featured on the front that could give a clue as to its age.
    There is no spout. One of the 4 eyelets has been flattened. There is some verdigris (copper oxidation) around the hunting scene circular border.
    It has a pleasing tone and is a very interesting piece. Please see all photos.
