Everything fits nicely inside the padded case to take along. Just hook it up to any power supply, hook it up to the computer/laptop with an ethernet cable. Lights on the modem indicate signal and its' strength. Turn on the computer, open up a browser and you are on the internet. For Windows users, the computer needs to be a minimum of 166 MHz with 32 MB memory and running 98, Me, 2000, XP or Vista.
