Description
Do you know someone with poor vision who loves to read, or see the text messages on their phone, or can't make out legal or medical documents? This machine has 16 levels of magnification (the picture with the pennies and dimes is at 5x magnification, while the one with the quarter on the screen is at level 12).
The sliding table moves side to side, diagonal, and fore and back with the ease.
There are light and brightness settings as well as 'mode' control (changes background color, and a focus adjustment that requires only the touch of a finger.
There are jacks on the back for hooking up a computer, foot switch, and control box. None of these add-ons are included so I have not tested these to see if they work.
During the day, with some sunlight, the use of the built in light is not necessary.
The 19 "screen measures 15" x 11.75" and pivots 180 degrees and even tilts all the way to horizontal.
Everything works perfectly - it appears near new.
I bought this at an estate sale and was told that the original owner paid over ,000 (current models are now selling for over ,000--plus tax).
If you are close enough for local pick-up, I will include a strong little wheeled table (see last 6 pics) at no additional charge. This allows the user to move it around and out of the way when not in use. The front wheels on the table have foot locks on them.
