the new release of the Worlds very first Pearl Black 50p coin in Proof Sterling Piedfort to celebrate the 180th Anniversary of the Penny Black stamp.
In 1840, the famous reformer, Rowland Hill introduced the World's First adhesive stamp to Britain. This stamp made philatelic history, with a beautiful yet simple design by Henry Corbould showing the profile of a young Queen Victoria.
Our stunning new coin features the 'Penny Black' stamp, and is available in Proof Sterling Piedfort with a lustrous 'Pearl Black Finish'. The obverse of the coin features the Pobjoy Mint exclusive effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
A great addition to your World coin collection.
