    Description

    This is our model designed specifically for the Mossberg 500A 12ga. It simply attaches to the Take Down Screw, giving you a cost effective, breaching / standoff device.
    This "Pumkin Puncher" will also fit the Mossberg Maverick 88 and similar shotguns with the 1" steel take-down screw on the front of the tube.
    If you have an older take down screw that is approximately 1/4" in width, you will need to replace it with a newer, 3/8" thick TDS from Mossberg or Uncle Mikes.
    This model, the M500-L, is designed to fit a Mossberg 500 with a
    STAGGERED LENGTH
    barrel to tube ratio such as commonly found on Mossberg 500's with an 18.5" barrel.
    This “Pumkin Puncher” is machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and as such, may exhibit some machining marks. It is then anodized flat black and branded. A quick swipe with a black permanent ink pen will camouflage the etching if you so desire.
    What you’ll receive:
    The stated device, instructions, all necessary machine screws, washers, allen screws and hex wrenches for your specific item along with a pack of VC-3 thread lock. You will need a phillips screwdriver and/or a 3/8” socket or similar. A very easy install.
    Dimensions are as follows:
    An OAL of 4.630. A working length of 4.235, from the face of the take down screw to the tips of the teeth, and an OD of 1.250. Dimensions are approximate.
