This incredible Kilo Silver coin features five important stations of Marco Polo‘s life. The coin has an Antique Finish quality, a special Cube shape and a very detailed design. It comes in a case, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage to 199 pieces worldwide. This special cube coin is a wonderful representation of Marco Polo’s life. He was the first to explore some parts of Asia and to leave a detailed chronicle of his experience. On each face of the cube, there is one piece of his life. On the first face of the cube, the inscription: “DEPARTING FROM VENICE 1271” - he set out from Venice in 1271 and reached China in 1275. On the second face, the inscription: “STRUGGLES ON THE SEA” - representing a scene at sea stormy. On the third face, the inscription: “SERVING EMPEROR KHAN” - Marco Polo was appointed to serve as Khan's foreign emissary so this face representing one piece of its life at the Court of Kublai Khan. On the fourth face, the inscription: “THE HOLY LAND” – representing the arrival of Marco Polo in the holy land. On the fifth face, the inscription: “SILK ROAD TO CHINA” – he travelled through Asia along the Silk Road. On the last face, the Gibraltar Coat of Arms and the inscriptions: “THE JOURNEY OF MARCO POLO” – the name of the coin, “GIBRALTAR” – the issuing country, “2021” – the year of issue, “1 KILO” – the weight of the coin, “10 POUNDS” – the face value and “AG 999” – the fineness of the Silver.
