This item has been graded per TCA standards C-5: Good. There are loose and missing trim pieces. There are scratches, nicks, and spots of surface rust along several cars. There is discoloration along the roof of the 9408 car. Additionally, one of the trucks is detached from the 9213 covered hopper. The instruction manuals are not included. Here is a Lionel 1868 Missouri &Saint Louis Service Station Special Set from 1978. This set includes a 8866 M&STL Diesel Locomotive, a 9213 M&STL Covered Hopper, a 9408 Lionel Lines Circus Car, a Lionel 9726 Erie Lackawanna Boxcar, a 9138 Sunoco 3-Dome Tank Car, and a 9271 M&STL Bay-Window Caboose. The locomotive features a motor, die-cast metal trucks, and metal wheels and axles. Additional cars feature die-cast metal trucks, operating knuckle couplers, and metal wheels and axles.
