Description
This is the famous Lionel Union Pacific M10000 Streamliner Set from the 1930s. When introduced in 1934, this set broke new ground for Lionel. It was the first model of a diesel-powered train Lionel ever produced, and it was scale length. The set's extreme length means that it will only run on curves 72 inch diameter or larger. The set includes a powered unit and non-powered trailing cars. A great addition to any Lionel collection. The locomotive features metal construction, motor, an operating headlight, an operating whistle, and metal wheels. The non-powered cars features metal construction, interior illumination, and metal wheels.
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. There are nicks, scratches, and spots of surface rust on this set. The paint is cracking along the roof of several items.
