  • Condition: Vintage Marx O / O27 scale 6 unit freight set and 12 pieces of O27 3-rail track. Freight cars are 4 wheels with plastic knuckle couplers. Set includes the Scarce battery operated DC motor 0-4-0 Black plastic Steam Engine (no number on cab, probably #401 engine) with a black plastic #1951 Penn Central tender, #18326 orange plastic Penn Central Pacemaker caboose, #2532 green plastic Cities Services single dome tank car, #715100 blue plastic NYC gondola, #21913 green plastic LV hopper. The on/off switch on the engine has been repaired; switch opening enlarged, and repaired cow catcher/missing piece. Engine was tested with two D cell batteries and works fine. Switch is a little loose. No side rods on engine. All items show ‘play wear’ and have some minor cosmetic issues on the individual items. (Scratches, rub marks, wear marks, surface rust, etc.). Items are in Very Good or better condition. Refer to the pictures for additional information. NO Boxes and NO instruction sheets. AS-IS
