On August 29, 2020, the Chicago Cubs visited the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park for a doubleheader. In Game 2, Tejay Antone started for the Reds, while Alec Mills took the mound for the Cubs. Ian Happ led off the game with a home run. Kyle Schwarber came to bat next. Schwarber worked the count to 2-2, fouling off the fourth pitch. For the fifth pitch, Antone HELD THIS BALL IN HIS HAND!! He threw an 81 mph curveball that was called a strike, and ANTONE STRUCK OUT SCHWARBER WITH THIS BALL!! Antone kept this ball. Anthony Rizzo walked to the plate. The Cubs got hits from Ian Happ, Jason Heyward, and David Bote later in the game but fell to the Reds 6-5.
