The Marlins promoted Yelich to the Major Leagues on July 23, 2013. In 2014, Yelich won a Gold Glove, becoming the youngest Marlin and first Marlin outfielder to ever win the award. In January 2018, the Marlins traded Yelich to the Milwaukee Brewers. In 2018, Yelich won the National League batting title, being the first Brewer to ever accomplish that feat. Yelich was also named Most Valuable Player for the National League, joining Robin Yount and Ryan Braun as Brewer MVPs. In 2019, Yelich became the first Brewer to have 30 home runs before the All Star break, edging out Prince Fielder’s record of 29 home runs. Yelich went on to win his second batting title in 2019, but fell short of winning the MVP (partly due to an end of season injury). Yelich has won the NL Hank Aaron Award twice.
