    Description

MLB Authenticated - Joey Votto Double To Gregory Polanco Off Chad Kuhl. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. On August 14, 2020, the Pittsburgh Pirates visited the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park. Chad Kuhl started for the Pirates, while Sonny Gray was on the mound for the Reds. Joey Votto led off the bottom of the fourth. Kuhl HELD THIS BALL IN HIS HAND!! Kuhl threw a knuckle curve for a called strike. He came back with a sinker that Votto swung at and missed. On his third pitch with this ball, Kuhl threw a four-seam fastball for a ball. He followed that with a slider that was also a ball. On the fifth pitch, Kuhl threw a sinker, and VOTTO SMACKED THIS BALL TOWARDS GREGORY POLANCO IN RF FOR A DOUBLE (Votto’s second double of the season). Votto later scored on Jesse Winker’s home run. The Reds went on to win 8-1 behind hits by not only Votto and Winker but also Shogo Akiyama, Nicholas Castellanos, Josh VanMeter, Freddy Galvis, Tucker Barnhart, and Kyle Farmer. (Only Nick Senzel failed role get a hit.) This ball is MLB Authenticated for all five pitches from Kuhl to Votto, including Votto’s double. Please note that this ball does not come with a case.
