    Description

MLB Authenticated - Kris Bryant 10th Inning Single to Josh Naylor off Phil Maton. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. On September 16, 2020, the Cleveland Indians visited the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. Jon Lester started for the Cubs, while Aaron Civale went for Cleveland. In the bottom of the 10th, the game was tied 2-2. Phil Maton was on the mound. Ian Happ was on second. Kris Bryant walked to the plate to lead off. MATON HELD THIS BALL IN HIS HAND!! He threw a 94.2 mph four-seamer, and BRYANT RIPPED THIS BALL 106.6 MPH TO JOSH NAYLOR IN LF FOR A SINGLE!! This ball was then retired. The hit would have been a walk-off, but as you can see in the photo, Happ started to go back to second because it looked like Francisco Lindor might have a play on the ball. Also, on the replay, it looks like José Ramírez was the cut-off, which means he also probably touched this ball. Maton then intentionally walked Anthony Rizzo. He struck out Willson Contreras and Kyle Schwarber. With the bases loaded, Javier Baez hit a walk-off single to win the game for the Cubs! This ball is MLB Authenticated for Bryant’s 10th-inning single off Maton. Please note that this ball does not come with a case. Thank you for purchasing!!
