    Description

MLB Authenticated - Nick Senzel vs Kevin Ginkel Game-Used Baseball. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. On April 22, 2021, the Arizona Diamondbacks visited the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park. Taylor Widener started for the Dbacks, while Jeff Hoffman went for the Reds. In the bottom of the seventh, Riley Smith was on the mound. Alex Blandino led off with a double to David Peralta in LF. Jesse Winker smashed a home run. Nicholas Castellanos grounded out to Nick Ahmed. Kevin Ginkel replaced Smith. Joey Votto blasted a home run. Eugenio Suarez flew out to Josh Rojas. Nick Senzel then walked to the plate. With the count 1-0, GINKEL HELD THIS BALL IN HIS HAND!! He threw an 83.8 mph slider that Senzel swung at and missed. (Yes, that means Carson Kelly also touched this ball!) Ginkel then threw another slider, and SENZEL FOULED OFF THIS BALL!! This ball was then retired. Senzel eventually struck out to end the inning. The Reds scored 11 runs in the game off hits by Winker, Castellanos, Votto, Suarez, Jonathan India, Tucker Barnhart, Tyler Naquin, Hoffman, and Blandino but ended up losing the game 14-11. This ball is MLB Authenticated for both pitches from Ginkel to Senzel, including Senzel’s foul. Please note that this ball does not come with a case. Thank you for purchasing!!
