In August 25, 2020, the Kansas City Royals visited the St. Louis Cardinals art Busch Stadium III. Adam Wainwright started for the Cardinals, while Matt Harvey went for the Royals. In the top of the sixth, the Royals were down 4-3. Ryan O’Hearn led off the inning. He worked the count to 3-1. On the fifth pitch, Wainwright HELD THIS BALL IN HIS HAND. He threw an 84.3 mph cutter, and O’Hearn BLASTED THIS BALL TO DEEP CENTER FIELD FOR HIS FIRST HOME RUN OF THE SEASON TO TIE THE GAME!! The Royals went on to win 5-4 behind hits by Whit Merrifield, Hunter Dozier, Maikel Franco, Ryan McBroom, Adalberto Mondesi, Cam Gallagher, and, of course, O’Hearn.
