A moving magnet type (MM type) cartridge developed by Nagaoka on the occasion of its 80th anniversary.
Featuring a glossy lapis lazuli stylus knob, "Lapis Blue" uses an aluminum alloy cantilever and diamond-joined elliptical hands for stable vibration transmission.
While pursuing high cost performance, we have realized a wide range and powerful sound.
The needle part is designed in a protruding cylindrical shape, making it easy to put on and take off, improving the visibility of the needle.
By embedding a screw hole for mounting the head shell in the cartridge body, the nut is omitted and resonance is successfully suppressed.
The design and structure of this new MM type cartridge was highly evaluated and won the 2020 Good Design Award.
