    Bearing Housing for Ortofon AS 212
    Ortofon AS 212 is a great arm.
    Unfortunately, the polymer in which the bearing housing was manufactured, after all this years, becomes brittle and crumbly
    Most of the shaft of the vertical bearings of the Ortofon AS 212 arms are 4 mm,
    as you can see in the photo #11
    But although rare, there are some with 5mm.
    These Bearing Housing have 4mm hole.
    If the shaft of your arm is 5mm please put a note in your order requesting a 5mm hole. If you are not sure about it you can buy the 4mm and widen the hole your self with a 5mm drill. It is a quick and easy task to do.
    This is the solution to repair the broken bering housing, or to upgrade the arm, replacing the original bearing housing.
    This Bearing Housing is machined in Tecaform™ (Acetal Copolymer). The Tecaform™ is a material which fully insulates vibrations, high dielectric strength and non-magnetic.
    Make sure you have the necessary tools and skills to do this delicate task.
