    Description

    For sale is a truly unique collectable from the 2014 NLCS Game 1 in St Louis- a game and series won by the 2014 World Series Champion San Francisco Giants.  This ball was part of Pablo Sandoval's MLB Record 26 postseason hits- specifically it was used to record his 9th hit of the 2014 Postseason.
    Here are the specific details of the ball:
    This specific ball was pitched by St. Louis's Carlos Martinez in the top of the 7th.
    -It was first used to retire Buster Posey on a line-out to center.
    -Next, Pablo Sandoval would hit a single on the first pitch, advancing Joe Panik to 2nd base.
    -Finally, Hunter Pence would foul the ball off on the 2nd pitch in the batters cage- it would be retrieved by the ball-boy and retired from play.
    Authenticated balls such as this are sent mid-game to sale to the public, and are sold by the team.  NLCS balls are extremely rare, and this ball is truly part of a historic MLB postseason batting record. The authentication is input by the on-site MLB authenticators, who apply the holograms and enter the details of the play.  Authentications can be verified through the MLB.com site.  This ball carries the hologram HZ365606.  I have attached a screen shot for your review of the MLB authentication serial number search result.

    This item ships USPS priority insured (for the purchase price) for .50 anywhere within the USA.
