Rare, complete Michael Warren's Birds Of America First Day Covers and Artist Sketch Book through the National Audubon Society, Limited Edition. Issued 1988 and 1989. It contains a full color sketch page of birds from all 50 states with a stamp (first day cover envelope), and artist notes by Michael Warren. Each envelope has a canceled stamp from Michael Warren's National Audubon Birds of America collection plus two more postage stamps totaling {{detail_product_description}}.25. All states represented in beautiful colors. Warren traveled to all 50 states to capture birds in their native settings for this fine collection, see bio page photo.  Great gift for bird enthusiasts, stamp collectors and to use in the classroom or at home for natural history and U.S. history lessons.  This entire binder is a beautiful collection of stamps and sketches. Comes in quality, dedicated leather-textured black binder with clear vinyl protective sheets for the stamps. It would be a great addition to any stamp collection!
Binder is 16" long x 11" wide x 2 3/8" high. Each First Day Cover measures 8 1/2" x 4 1/2".
All of the original receipts for the first day covers are included, see photo.
Excellent condition, a few scuffs on back of binder, all artwork/covers in beautiful condition. The back of one vinyl page had some ink transfer from the receipts but I have included an extra vinyl page plus (4) extra partial state sheets so you can swap it out if you like.
