Set in the Australian Outback, season 2 of Survivor was filmed from October 23rd through December 3, 2000, and was the top-rated show of 2001. While Tina Wesson won Season 2, the most famous cast member ended up being Elizabeth Hasselbeck, who went on to cohost “The View.” Mattel teamed with Upper Deck to release a trading card game in which the object is to “Outwit, Outplay, and Outlast your opponent in the ultimate collectible card game of survival.” This is a group of 100 sealed packs! Each pack still has the original price tag affixed indicating a retail price of .97 per pack. Each pack contains 5 common cards, 3 uncommon cards, and 1 rare card. Upper Deck increased the stakes with this season, randomly inserting autographed cards of castaways in packs, such as autographed card of Elisabeth and Colby. These packs have been resting in storage, undisturbed, for 20 years! This is a great collector’s item of a revolutionary television show.
