Recently I purchased a small collection of antique with vintage uniform buttons, military, railroad, police, firemen and more.
This listing is for the Antique Post WWI Era US Coast Guard Button Superior Quality Late Revenue Cutter Service Design Old metal button pictured only.
The metal uniform button is highlighted by raised and recessed details.
This early US Coast Guard button features a rope passing under the anchor with the eagle facing left (pre 1941) standing on the foul anchor after the late Revenue Cutter Service design without the RCS initials.
In 1915 the Life Saving Service merged with the US Revenue Marine Service in 1915 to create the US Coast Guard.
On the back there is the Superior Quality mark
