USCGC CASTLE ROCK (WAVP/WHEC-383)
Boston, MA, and Portland, ME (W5183 and W5194)
These two patches were made up for a 2012 reunion.
The former Navy seaplane tender served as an Ocean Station weather vessel in the North Atlantic for many years, 1949-1970.
She deployed to Vietnam in 1971 and, at the end of her deployment, was turned over to the South Vietnamese Navy.
Each is a new, medium size 4" wide and 4" tall color patch.
Each is computer sewn, 100% embroidered, with a laser cut edge and an unsealed back.
This lot is for two patches, one each, as shown.
