Up for bid is a
Vintage 1970s Lionel Train Set
This vintage Lionel trainset was made in Michigan sometime during the 1970s. The steam engine a Nickel Plate Road 8040 with matching tender. Matching caboose that comes with the set is missing a wheel (see photo). Also included is a tanker car, box car, gondola car, and a flat car. The track that comes with it will need some cleaning in order for the train to work in tip top shape. Includes 12 pieces of curved track, 19 straight track and a transformer with transformer track. Every thing was tested and the engine does work but will need servicing as lots of sparks were being produced from the engine. This train set did come from a house of smokers so it does have a smoke smell to it. ************NOTE: This train set will need servicing so I recommend that this be used on a concrete or non flammable surface due to the sparking!!! This train set is being sold AS IS and all sales are final with no returns or refunds.************************************************

Shipping is via USPS Priority Mail with included insurance and postage is determined by where you live! I have no control over the speed of shipping once it is shipped due to recent policy changes to the postal service. I do ship to all 50 States including Alaska and Hawaii! I do not ship worldwide, no exceptions! I ship Monday through Friday except postal holidays and I will try my best to ship on Saturdays depending on if I can make it to my local post office before noon.
