Very easy to use with only a couple buttons on the whole machine. One switch will invert black text on a white background to white text on a black background. Very easy knob to focus. Another lever to adjust magnification. Final switch is on/off and that's it! Great gift for someone who loves to read but is having trouble with vision loss.
