Description

2019 AL Rookie of the Year Yordan Alvarez hit this ball for a line-drive single in the bottom of the 2nd in Game 2 of the 2019 ALDS vs former Cy Young winner Blake Snell and the Rays (10/5/19). The Astros won 3-1.
This was Yordan's second career post-season hit.
Yordan's future is bright; his .655 slugging percentage was the highest in history for a qualified rookie, which earned him unanimous selection for AL Rookie of the Year. Also, authenticated post-season hits by ROYs are pretty rare.
